Services

AzMETCO CAA is a company which specializes in providing services for production processes’ automation in the Oil and Gas Industry, namely:

  •    Designing – oil and petroleum products metring systems:
  •             fundamental designing;
  •             technical and metrological inspection of the project;
  •             selection of equipment basing on the Customer’s technical requirements and in accordance with international and Azerbaijan standards;
  •             etc.
  •   Installation and adjustment of measuring instruments and systems of oil and oil products.
  •    Maintenance - preventive maintenance of equipment, evaluation of reliability and wear, definition of defects, repair and replacement of defective equipment, components, etc.
  •    Metrological assurance - development of normative documents, calibration and verification of measuring equipment, evaluation of the measurement accuracy and entire oil and petroleum products metring systems.
  •    Development of software (SCADA systems) for oil and petroleum products metring systems.

AzMETCO CAA concluded contracts to perform the above works with:

  •    SOCAR and its subdivisions;
  •    BP (Azerbaijan);
  •    Oil and Gas Industry joint ventures.

The region for the contracts’ works performance at the moment is Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey.

AzMETCO CAA has the necessary reference equipment and devices for performing the above works and is certified by the Azerbaijan Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents. In addition, in 2015 AzMETCO was certified by the Dutch Metrology Institute (VSL) and holds international certificates (CMC) to perform works on calibration of reference mobile and stationary field Provers. The works with VSL are continuing. AzMETCO together with VSL is planning to develop the procedures and obtain certificates (CMC) for all sorts of calibration activities for equipment of oil and petroleum products metring systems.

In AzMETCO there is complete reference metering equipment:

  •    Laboratory for calibration of reference measuring tanks;
  •    Laboratory for calibration of mobile reference provers;
  •    Laboratory for calibration of in-line densitometers;
  •    Laboratory for calibration of in-line viscometers;
  •    Laboratory for calibration of pressure and temperature transducers;

   Stand for calibration of various types and purposes flow meters with flow rate limits from 2 to 50 m3 / h, on the basis of reference measuring tanks, provers or a monitor counter;

For works on the sites in field there are:

Field devices and calibrators;

Two (2) mobile reference Provers.

This enables to perform qualitatively the full range of technical and metrological maintenance of oil and petroleum products metring systems and separate field devices.

AzMETCO main staff has over 25 years of experience in the industry. The newly employed young workers undergo specialized training and examination in the field and in AzMETCO laboratories for at least 3 - 5 years.
